About Project Peoplerun
Project Peoplerun is a community run, running community and we want you to get involved – either by running, helping to spread the word or sponsoring the project – to help raise £5,000 for Naomi House children’s hospice.
We’re building a team of people who have committed to run 10, 10k races (one every two months, roughly) starting with the Swindon 10K on 21 November 2010. We’re also planning to up the stakes by running the Great North Run in 2011, and the Amsterdam Marathon in 2012!
What makes Project Peoplerun different is that we’re asking people to sponsor the project rather than the runners, which means you can join the fundraising effort by getting involved in some or all of the races – or even by participating in other events of your choice.
We hope the project inspires you to put your running gear on, whatever your ability, and would love to hear how you’re getting involved. Just let us know what you’re doing and direct people to the Peoplerun Justgiving page to support you!
Keep up to date on our activities by visiting the Peoplerun blog, following us on Twitter or by liking our Facebook page and help us to make as much noise as possible to raise money for this great cause.
